Yup, I would say he should have been MVP each year the Bulls won a championship.

He was by far the most valuable player during the regular season.

Nah, Chuck’s MVP in 1993 is legit, Malone in 1997 is the one that is questionable.

And for all of the longevity talk, Mike had way more success past the age of 30 than lebron, who has no MVPs or 1st team all-defenses past 29.

I knew someone would bring that argument but Lebron wasn't better than Kobe for those first two MVPs he got. 2009 and 2010 Lebron choked in the playoffs. (Yes, it's a regular season award)

I hate that it's only a regular season award because MJ and Kobe would have won more.

Yes, one big fault in the awards (especially MVP) is that even though stats and wins matter a lot, media narratives and voter fatigue are other major factors when choosing an MVP. Rose is a great example.
