THE LEBRON 13 THREAD *Elites released**Command Force 6/11/16

If they look as good on feet as the 9's then I'm all in!

I wasn't a fan of the 9's at first either until I saw them worn.

I own the Griffey, SLH, and MN 9's.

Yea I'm patiently waiting for some real substance for the shoes before I make a real decision.
I tend to not love brons at first sight other than the 4 and the zoom powers.

I think 13 has the potential to be great depending on CWs. Best LeBrons (AZG, 2) have a simple 90s look to them. Just like these do IMO.

The 12s also had the potential to be great, but Nike didn't use the potential with the CWs they released.

At this point I'm skeptical that the 13s will be great, but let's just wait for official pics of different CWs and seeing them in person.

It's all subjective but I'm not sure that people buying the 13 desire a classic 90s look. They kinda want innovative and new especially for the price point.

IMO 12s had some dope colors in both miss and highs.

Some were definitely great and I don't understand why the 12s get so much hate/dislike, but nike could have made more out of the concept/design of the 12s

I mean, we get so many colors these days that they appeal to many audiences. I personally believe that if nike get you to buy 2+ of the model than it wins. We def won't like every color so it's like they just keep swinging til they hit a HR :lol

And the 12 ext lineup is probably the best overall group of the ext series (flame suit on). Def a step up from the 11 ext as a whole and I'm a big fan of the 11 model.

Agree on the 12 ext series. Really strong this year. Definitely better than the 11 ext's (besides Kings Crown).

While I agree with you, don't you think at some point Nike should take it's 3 strikes and sit down? 20+ CW's every year? I dig Bron's but with SO many colors released you think it's possible they water down what they are doing? Instead of cutting back to say even 12 CW's...which is still a lot for a line regardless, put out some better, more well thought out CW's. With better, tangible back stories...instead of "Bron working in the science lab with his chromosomes"...I mean sometimes it's just Saturday morning cartoon garbage some of these stories. Whatever gets the masses to bite I guess...I don't know. Just throwing it out there for conversations sake really.

I loved all the X EXT's (minus the Hazelnuts) but I only own the Mints, and the 12's are better than the XI's. But like I told Red...I think the overall shape and concept of the XI did not translate well to the idea of the EXT line.

It honestly doesn't bother me because I don't have to buy what I don't like. My main concern is me getting colors I like.
What if mike only drops 3 colors like we used to get?
Home away all star and maybe a 4th for like Akron? It would be very vanilla shoe IMO.

Not sure if we just haven't seen a good angle of the mens sizes...or they just don't have any good angles

Red Paisely are better than the KC, the details on the RC are just ridiculous and it's the best ext period of all exts

i think me and you beat the XI ext convo into the ground so i'll skip that one, the Hazelnuts are the best released X ext(most fluid desing that has a leather tongue that stands out the least amongst the others), looking back though i wish the X exts were more like the unreleased ver with the regular tongue on them as i'm not fond of the leather tongue, it seems out of place when looking back, great concept at first but doesn't stand the test of time IMHO

Don't these drop like in a few weeks?

Why haven't we gotten any good pics?
@VentureBlake  actually received a tweet back from Heidi that said be patient when asking about the reveal

What's it's functionality anyway?

It reminds me of a Under Armor logo

Who cares if it looks cool?

I'm sure elephant print or the ripples on the foamposite or icy soles have no real practical effect but part of shoe design...is the actual design

I'm all for functionally pointless pieces on shoes if it looks good

The issue is it doesn't good :lol

So I'd like to know if it actually improves them on the court. Being that it's randomly floating on the upper it seems suspect though.

Check SLAM's cover Bron has the 13's around his neck on and pics of them on his feet.  I am glad we can stop the "oh these are GS nor men sizes wait for that bs now"  They are still FUGLY.  But if you enjoy it, enjoy getting them for cheap!  I def enjoyed getting every 12 (which is a totally better looking shoe) for way below retail.
