i won't disagree with the people saying that Lebron is the best player in the league. but unlike when MJ was the best player in the league, Lebron is not the hardest-working player, he is not the most clutch player, and he is not the most skilled player in the league. he is just the most athletically gifted. but Kobe, even at 30 years old, is still all of those things. that's why many people still ride with Kobe in Kobe vs Lebron debates.

Jerry West didn't really go out on a limb by saying that.

I'm both a Kobe fan and a Lebron fan. It's completely obvious that Bron has surpassed Kobe as the best player in the league. But I'd still takeKobe's killer instinct over Bron's any day.

Bron is taking over, but he ain't winning it this season. Not yet.

I agree with Jerry West. Age and size give Lebron the edge. Kobe is only 30 but he already relies more on skill then athletism. He can still jump and is fastbut his skills and footwork is what makes him stand out (like Jordan late in is career or Bird most of his career). While Lebron just makes the game look soeasy with his size, strength and skills. I mean it looks like he can effortlessly just go out there and get 35, 8 & 8 every game and no one can stop him.And Lebron is getting better and does put in the hardwork so he can or will be the best ever. And when Lebron does get old and a step slower he will hopefullyhave a post game and just kill the league as a power forward.
