This "era" business really chafes some of you guys, for whatever reason.
Whether you wanna call it the "love era" or whatever you think the "real love era" is you knew what
he was getting at by the examples given in the orignal post. Like someone mentioned earlier, some of y'all are looking at things too literally.
Everybody here is always so ready to categorize and quantify things. If era and > weren't in the title there probably wouldn't be a problem.
I might be older than a majority of the regulars in this section, save for a few, so I can say that i've experienced a great deal of the
different facets of hip hop first hand, and I can appreciate that. It's cool to reminisce on certain things, but constantly lamenting for the past,
and trying to put a < > between things is tiresome and pointless. Especially in something as subjective and personal as music.
