Ron Washington might not make it out of April with his job...
laugh.gif

Hicks and Nolan Ryan apparently had a meeting recently to discuss the team's continuous mental errors and the lack of basic fundamentals in the field...Washington was told if things didn't get better over this road trip, he might not have a job when he got back to Arlington...

We'll see whathappens come the end of this week.

Man you will post this garbage anywhere you can, quick don't forget to add it to the Official NY Mets thread along with the NL East thread

Eddie V...3-0, 1.21 ERA, 23 K's

bats came alive finally, 15 hits. Votto's still hot. as soon as Jerry Hairston fizzles out, i'm sure it will be Jay Bruce's turn to take center.

the Tigers put Cabrera on first and Guillen on third, for good according to Jim Leyland.

Brandon Webb is 5-0

...the D-backs got some arms. Dan Haren is 3-0 andMicah Owings is 4-0.

Sabathia had a good outing finally.

i still wonder who's gonna pick up Frank Thomas and Barry Bonds.

Can Frank or Barry play 1st base?
laugh.gif

Mets need an RBI man @ 1st base in the worst way.

how 'bout an Andruw Jones update:

Yea whats up? 7 ER?

Hes normally mid 90's. If him and Arroyo can get back on track. Volquez (SP) and those two could be good.

Roy Halladay has pitched 4 straight complete games with an ERA of 2.86...but he's not getting any support, he's 1-3 in those games.

Josh Hamilton ends April hitting .330/.375/.591, 6 HRs, 32 RBIs, 16 Runs...

This dude has been the only thing keeping me interested in Rangers games

Volquez finished the month 4-0, 1.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 33K/16BB...

Hell of a trade for both teams at this point.

Put the league on notice: Max Scherzer is FILTHY. Seen this dude pitch for the Fort Worth Cats when he was holding out playing Independent ball, and

. Thisyear's Yovani Gallardo.

So with April over I must say the Giants are SUPRISING me right now.
I honestly thought they would lose 100, but hey they actually look like a baseball team out there!
If Zito steps it up
