The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

Because he's a point fighter... Faber is a pretty down to earth dude while I feel like Dom is so full of himself.

Best "kid whooping ***" vid I've seen in a while.

I show this to my son regularly

god damn lol

dude is lucky he didn't snap that arm. the disparity between someone that doesn't know how to fight and someone who does is staggering. dude dismantled homie with the utmost ease.

that was a pretty high level transition to armlock for a little kid.

Faber and Dom are both full of themselves, neither of which bothers me

Dom is much more exciting these days than Faber IMO. Faber used to be one of my favorites but nobody beats Father Time. He just isn't that entertaining to me

Dom on the other hand, sure he's a point fighter, but it's not typical. He has flash and is highly entertaining to me

I think there's certain guys

Yup. Not too many guys can pull it off and still be interesting, but Cruz is definitely one of those guys IMO. Such an awkward style, definitely interesting to watch. The Dillashaw fight was dope.

Faber needs to utilize the leg kicks. TJ had Dom wobbled late in the fight. If Faber can locate them early maybe he can slow down his movement too

I just want a good fight. It was so frustrating watching TJ's strategy. Horrible

I've read that the leg kick is going to be his go to. Hope soZ
Yes it is but knowing Dom and his understanding of the fight game he will be prepared for it.

For some reason i think Bisping might pull this off...everything says he can't but something is gearing me towards it lol iono why and he went off at the conference

Bisping won that verbal exchange , by a landslide lmao.. Hope he can walk away with the W.

I still can't believe how brainless Faber is when he tries to talk smack. Always brings up Dom's fragile body and how it's not built for battle ... Even though he beat his so called BFF lol. Faber lost all his title shots in the ufc and still thinks he beat Dom lol

faber is such a lame butthurt person. dillashaw gave credit to ludwig and wanted to go where the person who made him a champion went. Seems like he's the only one who hates tj while other members of the team still hang with him and go to colorado to train. He's lost so many title fights but the ufc will keep giving him one.

Ludwig is honestly a leech from what I see. He has TJ entranced but the fact of the matter is that he could have been that good of a striker with any good Muay Thai Kru because he has the Champion mentality. Ludwig isn't very smart, especially after hearing what happened behind the scenes and seeing what he gave TJ as a "strategy" against Cruz.

Nobody from TAM is flying to train with Ludwig, they're going to see their friend.

I personally think that if anyone has a reason to be upset, it's Urijah. He backed TJ since he was a nobody, was a training partner that helped TJ become champ (fighters don't get to be champions without quality training partners) and TJ up and left to follow someone who he thinks is selling hopes and dreams.

If tj is such a snake and was on ped's like faber said, then I don't get why the other members are cool still cool with him. There's was definitely some jealousy there with him becoming a ufc champion before faber. He even said he'd consider fighting tj when they were teammates since barao wasn't the champ anymore to wash him again.

I have this weird feeling about Bisping too... Idk why, it would be such a great story though...
Right, its like when everything points to an outcome and people kinda pre determine it, plans don't go that way. Im surprised we arent' hearing talk about whats next for Rockhold

Tbh boxing is Rockhold's worst skill, not bad just not his best and Bisping has some solid hands...only thing that worries me is Bispings chin

I fee like Rockhold will be way too tactical for Bisping. He chooses his spots very wisely. That check right counter hook is a thing of beauty. He's very good at fighting at length as well because of his size and kicks

Bisping actually outboxed him in the first fight as well. His boxing is more tactical than Rockholds. and that check hook didn't land in the first, he threw it a couple times, but Bispin ducked right under. Also Bisping said he's not gonna play the range game, he's gonna come forward and stay on him. No space for Rockhold to throw kicks, smart imo....Still don't know if its enough but im not willing to consider Rockhold this unbeatable phenom yet

Ill leave this here just to let the doubters know...

http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/6/2...rating-negotiations-with-nate-diaz-over-conor

"So that was a big myth that he was doing that. Nate, we signed a new deal going into that fight, then he signed the contract for UFC 200. So then Conor doesn't show up for UFC 200, and now Nate is trying to blow up the deal. It's just frustrating. But listen, that's the business we're in. This is what we do. Everybody is not going to be happy all the time. It's part of the deal, so now our job is, Lorenzo (Fertitta) and I have to sit down and try to figure out how to make this deal work."

I agree, I think Rockhold still has a lot to approve. Jacare is a bad match up for him IMO. You got someone who can match his size and speed.

Bispings chin will be the deciding factor. He's going to pressure Rockhold to close the distance but he going to get rocked in the process. Very interesting fight

All I was asking for in that Nate contract talk. Interested to see how much of an increase he was getting. Hopefully it was significantly more, but judging by Diaz and his management...

Its not in the article but in the video Dana says "Nate made millions for the first fight and will make more in the second"

Hadn't seen that news. He looked healthy in the embedded. Didn't he do open work outs?

Who looks hurt is Cruz. He has a weird limp in embedded. So jelly about his GTR.
