Just watched the card (was too faded last night :lol).

My dude Jorge....frustrating to watch sometimes. Just doesn't get off enough and from all the talk during the fight, he KNOWS it. Larkin still fought a great fight and looked CLEAN with his striking. Smart takedown at the end of Rd. 2 as well.

Fan of Felder. Glad he got the W.

Stephens with them Mortal Kombat uppercuts :lol Glad he got the W. Stopped being a fan of Barao when fights were getting cancelled because he couldn't make weight.

Garbrandt looked like a ******* BEAST last night. Never even gave Almeida a chance to breathe. Good ****.

Didn't see the Aljo fight. Read the commentary. Sounded like he dominated Rd. 1 then lost the next 2. Hope the kid bounces back strong.

Masvidal has all the tools. He's gun shy tho. Seems like a mental thing with him. He could use a mental coach along with Anthony Pettis.

So 199 is this weekend?

Watched the first two embedded and the Cruz/Faber Bad Blood special.

Not sold on Bisping/Rockhold. And the way Bispings youngest son and his father are talking, neither are they.

I pray to the MMA gods that Cruz is healthy. Faber looks good in the little vids I seen. He has a decent submit game. But if Cruz is healthy, he might be able to do his old elusive, out point strategy.

Anyone in LA going to UFC 199 this weekend? Going to be my first live UFC event.

also some thoughts from the fights,

-Sterling talked a lot, but he seemed to handle that loss like a man. He gassed himself out in that 1st round trying to submit a pretty damn good grappler, and his standup needs to improve in order to actually pose a threat, not just be a distraction for the eventual takedown.

-Eye...seriously? To comment on that fight may be putting in more effort than Eye did throughout those 15 mins. Did not even attempt to use her advantage, that was essentially a forfeit.

-Felder- Good win, but man, he's gotta stop testing his own chin like that. Talk about being able to take a punch and still come forward, but if he made it to top guys, that style of fighting is far too risky.

Larkin- Interested to see his next fight. Looks pretty good at this weight. Can't believe this was the first camp he ever did strength and conditioning.

Barao- Honestly not sure how he survived that second round. Stephens kept loading up on that uppercut and I thought it was about to be over every time. It's really unreal how flat footed Barao gets after he gets rocked though. At that point, he's a completely different fighter.

Garbrandt - I've officially hopped on the bandwagon. Both with an opponent list that didn't really give much to go on, I thought it'd be pretty evenly matched and picked Almeida. Cody's hands are serious though. He controlled distance perfectly and never stuck around to get hit by one of those Almeida counter elbows. Great performance.

199 got me depressed with all the injuries and no Penn

Actually I thought that was a hell of a matchup with Miller. Great potential

Holloway still flying under the radar. Hope he continues his wave

I hope Dustin finishes green impressively

Agreed on both. Also was pretty upset about Penn dropping off the card. Weidman would've been cool, but Penn is a different level of legend. Would've loved to see him fight...as long as he didn't look like he did in that last Edgar fight :rolleyes

Card is still strong but I was definitely in for Baby J for nostalgia and Weidman as opposed to Bisping.

Ha. This nsac weigh in official is a perv. Amanda looks damn good though. Seeing her hike up her dress and take it off would make me say something too.
