The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

Unless miesha is cornering him butt naked and jumping up and down with the camera focused on her
I honestly wonder who would win in a fight. Both fight at the same weight. And Miesha is a former word champ and extremely durable

Was very impressed with Linker's stamina even though I didn't agree with the decision. But that's why you can't leave it to the judges, it was a close fight for sure

Dodson's back pedaling style the entire fight didn't help him. I still believe he out pointed Lineker though

Shame Linker can't seem to get his weight under control. Let him fight another guy before granting him the title shot

Mark Henry's comments surprise me a bit, but hats off to him. I gained respect after he started to look a little petty recently. Now he's calling Conor the best striker in MMA.. trying the nice guy route lol

"I talked about a fighter when I shouldn’t have, and I really felt bad about it. I don’t think I have any business talking about a fighter. And whatever Conor had to say to me I think I deserve it or more. Whatever he said…I deserve more than that."

Henry says he regrets taking the shots, and that it’s not in his nature to do so.

"I’ve got nothing but respect for Conor," he said. "He’s an amazing fighter, and besides my guys where I’m going to be biased, I think he’s the best striker in MMA. I think he’s gotten better in different areas, I have nothing but the utmost respect for him and just what’s he’s done in this sport. And not just in the sport, but personality wise."

Part of Henry’s resolve comes from the way the UFC is booking fights in 2016, with intrigue fights usurping fights that could be made adhering to the rankings. It’s one reason he says he can’t be mad at McGregor, who is just playing the game, but he feels bad for the casualties of the game itself.

"You can’t blame him," he said. "My kid is going to do as much as I’ll allow him to do when he’s five. He’s going to take it and he should. That’s where that’s at, I don’t blame him for that. It just sucks for Frankie at 45 wondering where the hell things are going. I feel horrible for Jose, I mean I feel bad for him. And I feel bad for Khabib too, I really do. But that’s the way it’s done now. It’s done with [Dan] Henderson fighting [Michael] Bisping, and Conor fighting two meaningless fights, Ronda [Rousey] coming back a year-and-a-half, two years later, fighting for the title. CM Punk fighting, it’s crazy."

Dodson running the whole fight got him the L. Lineker was always pushing forward or chasing him

Rewatching Penn vs Sherk. This dude BJ walked away and licked his gloves after he finished him. Then went back to Sherk to get more blood to lick :rollin :rollin cot damn BJ is my favorite man

The prodigy :hat :hat :hat

God, I hope Lamas doesn't hurt BJ too badly

It's be kinda awesome to see Hendo knock out bisping again and finally get ufc gold.

It's been years since their first fight and their season of tuf but bisping still acting like a jerk and talking trash about dan.

BRUHHHHH the timing on that. Was like a damn drill you practice over and over.

BJ called off the fight after the round was over :hat :hat Mario was like "hmmmm okay!"

sherk disappeared. I think that was his last fight. I looked at what he was up to a while back and he was dealing with injuries and just stopped fighting.

"Usually when square off with a man, my heart rate goes up, I feel something," Alvarez said on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "I never felt so unthreatened by a human being as when I was up on a stage with him. That's the God's honest truth. I've never felt so unthreatened."

Man he just better show up, he's doing a whole lot of talking like he has this thing on lock. I think it's a 50/50 fight but he better not come in there acting like Conor can't hurt him. Would love to see Bellator Eddie put on a show tho

He gets rocked all the time. He'll probably get rocked if he loses and I have to go down to philly and smack him with a leaher glove.

Conor better stop acting like Eddie can't hurt him. We saw how he acted against Nate in the first fight.

For sure. If Nate can ring his bell then Eddie can too, it's gonna be interesting. Unless Eddie just says **** it and stinks the place out with his grappling

I would LOVE to watch Eddie wrestle **** Conor for 25 minutes. Would put to rest this narrative that Conor has put together that he beats all the wrestlers they put in front of him.

When the only high level wrestler he's faced is chad Mendes on two weeks noticed. Who completely dominated him until he ran out of gas.
