cody is basically just a young bull, ready to take anyones head off, doesnt care about mental sparring or being intellectually superior in the public eye.
He's a soldier, cut from a similar cloth to them diaz boys. All he wanna do is scrap.
I must say Cody has sold this fight very well, the build up has been entertaining...conor-esque

and it's true, creating conflict or drama leading up to a fight (whether its manufactured, forced, or real) absolutely generates more interest and excitement for a fight, its palpable.
whether your a casual fan, new fan, or a purist people just become more invested when drama is involved.
and you got guys who take advantage and capitalize on that like the diaz bros, conor, etc...
win or loose, I feel like cody and dom have both done their part optimizing interest for this fight.
I mean without cody ready to rip his shirt off after everything dom says this fight is not as exciting or as interesting

I didn't even know that there was no pre-fight presser yesterday, I'm googling and googling trynna find the time, but all that came up was the post-fight presser info.. nowhere even talked about why there was no pre-fight presser the day before the fight like usual.
