I think he got sloppy when garbrandt started connecting. Dom knew he was behind in the fight and he needed to score too and get knockdowns of his own. He should've went for more takedowns but garbrandt was staying a good distance away and he reversed that one takedown quick.

That may be true too. You could really see that Dom was the one emotional though. He was out there looking real sloppy with his striking and exposing his chin 

Cody also has nice wrestling, impressed me

I will really enjoy his fights with TJ and/or Lineker when they come. Should be great battles

He probably had a concussion. He ate some big shots and kept getting back up right away. His recovery was impressive.

dom usually throws a lot, misses a lot, but lands a few

unfortunately against cody, those few werent landing so it looked worse than it was

Dom arguably took more punishment in rd 4 than ronda, if Cody pounced instead of dancing he could have ended it

I believe this.

Also Cody could have gotten into his head once they got inside the ring and cody was playing with him..I think he 100% expected a wild Cody that would nonstop walk forward and hunt for the homerun shot. The exact opposite happened. All the credit goes to Cody 100% he made Dom look like a fool out there tbh

im sure theyve for a while how to beat him, it just took someone with codys power to knock him down

like i said before, if it had been someone like urijah landing those same punches that cody threw, dom probably would have just shrugged them off

very impressed with cody and how he handled his emotions in the octagon
you'd think he was the veteran with the championship experience in there
