These guys know that they can't just fight, they gotta go out there and run their mouths. They get popular, then can expand their name/brand to endorsements, movies, etc.

honda lucky she didn't have to do any of that. She just kept armbarring people and looking like a wbawg. Nunes and cyborg could ko 20 opponents in a row and wouldn't have close the popularity she had.

I will say Nunes is actually a solid English speaker and she really expressed herself quite well in the presser after the fight. I think she can become something decent in her own right as a personality

Y'all must forgot what TJ did to Barao 2x who Dom was lowkey ducking

I don't think Dom could have done that to Barao and if he ate one of Barao's leg kicks he would have wilted

TJ got all the tools and contrary to popular belief him an Dom's fighting styles are pretty different

Dom got zero flexibility out there with his legs, I don't think he could throw a head kick if he wanted to

All those hypotheticals about what Barao would do are irrelevant. Barao just lost to Dom's minion.

Dom's style just doesn't lend itself to leg kicks from his opponent that easily I think. Hard to kick a leg when you don't know it will be there.

Same with high kicks from him. Getting that leg up high is a long movement and the way he moves around doesn't lend itself to that motion IMO.

TJ would be such a great fight in every capacity. The storylines, the matchup and this time I think Cody will be able to verbally spar with someone like TJ

Cody has good boxing, head movement, and demonstrated good takedown defense against dom but has shown little bjj

TJ has better kickboxing

He's more mobile and flexible

He has good movement and counters effectively but has shown he can also go on the offensive

Has a longer reach than cody

He's young and great cardio

I would say that's all pretty much accurate, however, Cody is pretty mobile himself. Very very quick and has speed to burn

All of Cody's strengths still tip the scale a bit in his favor in this match up just for me....
