I thought Woodley won the 1st fight.
oops my bad I was too vague. I felt like Woodley deserved the nod over Wonderboy as he was so close to ending the fight.Majority draw.. 2 judges had 47-47
One had woodley 48-47
aside from that exchange where wonderboy almost got choked out, thompson was out pointing him

I don't disagree based on a drunken/ eye test while watching.
But those numbers would refute that. Surprising that they favor Woodley so mach based on how I remember the fight going. Not that they are 100% accurate either.
Scoring is tough man. Sometimes I see punches that I think land but it's really the other fighter pulling away.
People see one guy moving forward and see him as "aggressor" when the other guy could be moving back/sideways to set traps.
As much as we complain about judges (and rightfully so sometimes), **** ain't easy and is really open to interpretation.
2 v 1 opinion, the 2 maybe outweighs the 1 judgeIm still confused as to why people say Woodley didnt win and why its called a majority draw. if 2 judges had a draw and one had Woodley winning wouldn't that make woodley the winner?
Haha, well she's been "sick" from her last weight cut. So she claims she couldn't make weight unless she had 8 weeks to train. I don't know if you've heard, but Cyborg got flagged by USADA for a possible violation. She claims it was a substance that helped her body recover from the weight cut. So she may be suspended for a year or more anyway...
I'm just getting caught up on the UFC Unfiltered podcast so I'm mad late, but according to Dana, cyborg has been ducking fights?
He said she couldn't make 145 in 8 weeks.
Word. I've only heard the story from Dana, so I'm not sure what the truth is but he said he's given her 2 opportunities to fight at 145 and she turned down both. Made it sound like she was ducking for reasons other than the weight cut. Not fear of any of the fighters, but probably a substance violation. He also mentioned Holly turning down a fight, but he said she wanted the fight but her coaches or someone in her camp said it wouldn't be a good idea for her to fight cyborg at that time.

I have a real difficult time Cyborg is ducking fights. I mean, look at her history. What would she be scared of? Holly freakin Holm? Who initially turned down a non title fight with Cyborg at 145 lbs
Yeah, anything Dana says you have to take with a grain of salt. He says some true things and then mixes some crazy things in for certain reactions

No way, Bones won a decisive three rounds. It was close but he took over in the 5th.Gustaffson vs Bones should have been an immediate rematch
To this day I still think Gus won
