Yeah, the division is all over the place.

Jiri has to find a balance between entertaining and fighting smart to his strengths. Like what we saw from Gaethje in the Ferguson fight. He was wild reckless with Oezdemir even though he managed to KO him. There were some moments that were worrisome.

Honestly Jon arguably lost against Thiago and Reyes. He might be making a business decision in multiple ways by moving up to HW and trying his hand at the seemingly "less skilled" big guys. Although I wouldn't consider the contenders at HW to be basic, they've been evolving as well

OMalley had a rocket. It was a huge gamble. But he was clearly unproven.

So my question. I despise how the UFC fails to promote its stars, especially the proven ones. Is it right that they, put so much gasoline on these unproven prospects like O’Malley, Ngannou (going into the Stipe fight), Shahbazyan, etc?

Seems like that's just how the UFC works. They're always looking to groom the next Conor so they're gonna latch onto anyone who shows a spark. That's that WWE element. Same reason why deserving contenders get skipped over in favor of the fan favorites.

Yup. You also have to consider that they've historically catered more to a certain "demographic"
