The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

UFC raising the PPV price smh. Can't say I don't pay for them so no skin off my back. Just hope some bars don't suddenly decide to not carry them due to the increase.

$5 wont really affect a bar's bottom line. As long as normalcy can return, they can swallow that as an operating cost.

The UFC event will draw crowds to the bar if they don't want to watch it home legally or illegally. Like the meme Vince posted, this is just to increase revenue. WME's only earner is UFC.

Don't establishments pay a higher PPV fee? The reasoning is the event attracts customers.

Max seems to have the worst luck, was really looking forward to the Volk fight and him getting the belt back (yep I favored him in the 3rd fight).

Zombie would be a good fight or even Emmett or Cejudo if he's willing to come to terms with the UFC but he seems content on sitting out if the money isn't right.

Love K-Zombie but his movement and speed aren't good enough for volk. Would rather see cejudo in there.

KZ is gonna catch a beating if they put that together.

They had a little beef a while back too, Volk was saying "they need to be slapped around again" or something

The matchup doesn't really excite me and I'm just really bummed about Max. But honestly Zombie deserves a shot for being a vet if anything else. His only title challenge was in 2013, let him have another one now

Cejudo or the winner of Kattar/Giga would be way more hyped for me though

So did they fake us out like the Whitaker/Adesanya 2 fight?

They announced main events and 24 hours later, one of the fighter has an injury. He been had the injury and it was probably too soon for Max following his last fight. But they charging us $5 more per PPV and can put on whatever fights.

They said the same thing about Porier, Chandler and Ferguson.

I know his time will come eventually but I’m through doubting Charley Olives.

his recovery is good, his chin is ok to average. The guy with a tough chin and heavy hands usually has the advantage standing.

According to Ariel both title fights for March are now being moved to April

Two things

1. Max injury must be serious/bad if he can't fight in April too
2. Feel like the new headline fight for March might be big Nate v Dustin or Chimaev return

Chimaev ain’t headlining a PPV lol.

Could be Diamond/Nate. Hopefully the rest of the card is good if they do that…

Hope she doesn’t get splinters, Deltacron or cancelled by environmentalists.
