Great gameplan by Kattar. Those elbow strikes were nice. By middle of 2nd round, giga was stumbling around like he was drunk.

Had a feeling Giga was going to get tuned up. He Throws 100% on every strike and tries to pour it on you but doesn't have the cardio to match. He'll struggle to beat any contenders in the top 5 that are durable.
Him vs. Yair in the apex is a fight I really need to see though.
What a great come back fight for Kattar. Happy to see that the Max beating didn't wear on him and start the downfall of his career like we usually see in the game.
Those step in counter elbows he throws are nasty man. I can't believe Giga didn't get put out or even knocked down til the very end of the 5th. That man Kattar threw nothing but elbows for a good 3-4 mins straight at one point
. Giga definitely on the list of all time great chins already.
Entertaining main event beating, but the rest of the card was straight buns.

He can come back. Just have to make adjustments and add more to his arsenal. Once the pressure and stance switches started, he had no answer.

Man's was gassed 2 minutes in to the 2nd round. You can see Kattar ain't respect Gigas power like the 1st round, the way he decided to walk him down.

That actually wasn’t a bad countdown. There’s “back story” in the main and co main. Glad, the biggest and smallest men get to compete for their respective UFC trophies. Francis is in a predicament. UFC’s competition is trash. Unless Viacom is serious at going at WME…the only bag is in UFC. He might be able to do 1-2 of those freak show boxing fights.
