Think Izzy and Alex both need a different challenge at this stage and they can always run it back in a year or 2. Could even be at a catch weight.

Exactly. We’ve seen them fight twice in 5 months. It’s ok not to have them fight for a third time in 12 months

If it were 185, then I'd say let the rematch be next if they both wanted it. Don't think Alex has much time left at 185 at his age. At 205 though if their paths cross down the road then that's cool too.
205 seems like a perfect division for Alex to be champ and even have a few defenses. Really hope Jiri doesn't rush back from his shoulder injury man cause I need that fight with both men at 100% health.

Alex for sure could win the belt at 205 but I see it being a hard road. Lots of fun fights at 205 also though.

205 def needs a shot in the arm, if Alex is indeed moving up could see them giving him the likes of Jan and fast tracking him to a title if he wins impressively. Division in a weird spot rn and hope to see the Hill-Jiri fight get made by fall if Jiri is near 100% but who knows. The Walker-Smith matchup is very intriguing though as Walker has looked much improved his last couple fights.

When was the last time we had a guy who couldn’t speak English gain this much traction so fast? Outside of Izzy, Alex really only has 3 fights in the ufc and can’t speak English yet we all wanna see him fight the top top guys borderline fight for a belt in a division he hasn’t even fought in yet

To be honest, I like when the guy loses. The Walker KO by Hill to this day makes me laugh. Haha.
I mean he'd be the sacrificial lamb before Alex moves on to a proper competitor. I figure a tune up fight to get the crowd hyped on Alex again would be about right.
