I don’t look at it strictly off resume or title defenses- it’s a combo of overall skill and resume

Khabib belongs in the top 5 because nobody could come close to ******* with him and he absolutely manhandled 98% of his competition- including many of the great lw’s of this era. Tony and Charles would have been food for him

Was on a trip, got back Monday night and catching up on the thread now. It was getting very spicy for a few pages there after the main event lol. Watched the Alex-Izzy fight last night and knew it was a KO win for Izzy beforehand but seeing how it happened was amazing. Definitely not a lucky shot by any means and Alex got too aggressive there. He got some good shots in before Izzy's KO but should have played it smarter and let him bounce off the cage more IMO. I'd be all in for a 3rd UFC fight but understand if it's not made immediately. Think Izzy would make easy work of DDP but wouldn't be mad to see him get humbled for all that nonsense he's been talking about the true African BS.

Thought Jake was going to rematch Tommy but the Diaz fight still has lots of potential and the lead up could be interesting with how much press they are likely to do. Not sure I'll catch it live but I still have some interest in catching the replay a day or so after it airs.

Volk-Yair + Moreno-Pantoja is little underwhelming for a IFW card but really good matchmaking regardless.

Thinking holdup of the JJ-Stipe fight is money related so maybe it gets pushed to Aug-Sept.

I'd also like to see Khamzat fight someone like Costa first before getting the immediate shot but wouldn't surprised me if they make Izzy-Khamzat for late summer or the next Abu Dhabi card.

Part of the appeal with the Jake fight was wanting to see him take an L or get knocked out. Now that he took an L, could be slight drop off. Nate fans may be able to keep the buys up. They gonna have to build this up good to bring in the hype. Script writers going to be busy
