White House petitions normally go nowhere. The best they can hope for is that the White House actually responds and says they won't be getting involved. Two of the petitions I know that got the most signatures were the one to deport Beiber and one to pardon that NSA guy Snowden. They ignored and wouldn't comment on the Snowden one, and released a statement on the Beiber one which was basically a long wordy, "no comment" then used it to talk about immigration reform.

If UFC wanted change within the NSAC, they should stop holding events there but like you said it'll never happen. When UFC, boxing, etc hold events at casinos in Vegas, they are basically guaranteed that a certain amount of tickets will be bought because the casino buys a lot of tickets and sells them at a discount/give them out for free to the casino's high rollers. In return, UFC always has their big events and fights in Vegas. Thats why I thought there was no way McGregor v Aldo 2 was gonna be held in Cowboy Stadium.

When they reach 100,000 the White House releases a statement on their views on thr matter and what action if any they will take.

The site is meant for people to raise awareness about a specific topic, not as a bat signal for Obama

But what federal law did the commission break? How is this a great injustice? How does is effect the population?

That kind of stuff will make the DOJ take some kind of action.

Not the shady commission giving a multiple offender a raw deal.

And UFC should release Nick, or commission around the country shouldn't respect the ban.

The UFC costing themselves millions to fight is for Nick is foolish to me too.

And most importantly, there needs to be a combat fighters union to collectively bargain suspensions.

Excited for UFC 194 as I'll be in Vegas that weekend. Anyone ever been in Vegas to watch an event? I've heard since the fight is at MGM Grand only MGM owned properties on the strip will be able to show the event. If this is true can you guys recommend a sport bar/book to watch?

Hoping for the best man but I know for a few Floyd fights I was in Vegas, no hotels, bars or anything were televising the fight anywhere near the strip. We had to drive several miles outside the strip to a Buffalo Wild Wings to watch. I believe they were showing it on some sort of big screen or something like that for a ridiculous amount of money. At least that's what I recall

Yeah when it came to Floyd fights MGM had an exclusivity deal that prevented non-MGM properties on the strip from showing his fights.

Might have to hit up Spearmint Rhino. Well prob in about a month or so the places showing it in Vegas will likely start advertising events/reservations. Crazy how they have 3 events scheduled in 3 days that weekend. Strange they are having one on Thurs though. 

Can't wait for the Dec cards. But any rumors of possible co-main for UFC 195? It appears only one other fight besides the title bout has been announced. Surprising considering they usually try to stack the new years cards. Seems like putting Dillashaw/Cruz there would have made sense. Plus they put Pettis/Alvarez plus Browne/Mitrione on that event.
