Having Max/Pettis fighting for an interim belt is absurd.

Yea, they need to do away w/ the interim belts immediately, it's ridiculous.
 
i've given dana a lot of crap but i'll give him credit for this, promoting someone who has no intention of defending their belt is beyond ridiculous
 
Aldo/Frankie was one of the few cases an interim champ made sense. Conor was fighting in different weight classes and they didn't know if he was coming back.

Conor refusing to defend his belt, Aldo having a temper tantrum, and a new paper champ being crowned at 206.

Now Aldo got all the juice :smh: :lol: . If I were him I would agree to unify the 145 belt, then demand and instant shot at Conor at 155. :lol:

winning the actual belt doesnt automatically exclude you from being a paper champion

Whatever PPV the unification bout is on would have to bring in at peast 800,000 buys for Josie to be anle to make any demands

I can't wait until all of this plays out and only about 450,000 people tune in. McGreGOAT is going to have a field day :lol:
 
I think it'll be less than 450k to be honest.

They should just forget Pettis and have Aldo/Holloway for the title.
