The NBA Draft Thread

Celtics this, Celtics that :lol

Yet your team hasn't been relevant since Bynum was there. When was that again, like 10 coaches ago? :rollin

Bro the Lakers hired the Brian Scalabrine version of the Lakers championship squad as the new coach... Good luck.

But but Luke went 24 n 0 as the Warriors coach :rollin :rollin :rollin

We'll try again next year and the year after that with those Nets picks :smokin

Bruh I Just woke up to draft results. Skal slid all the way to 28! Crazy stuff.
Why did Orlando trade Oladipo for Ibaka?
Milwaukee effed up taking 26 year old Thon Maker at #10. COuldve had him in the second round probably.
Minnesota gonna improve.
Philly got a steal in Luwawu at #24 trust me. Ive watched him play a lot and mannnnnn, watch out.

Lakers will trade Randle, Young, Clarkson, plus future pick to Sacramento for Cousins and Seth Curry. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting Kings are "heavily engaged" in talks with the Lakers in a potential blockbuster trade that would send Cousins to L.A.

Wishful thinking but you never know. I think the Lakers are pursuing Cousins hard. Based on the roster below, the Lakers would have a solid mix of veteran leaders and youngsters while building a roster that can play the brand of ball Luke Walton is envisioning.

Can this young core of Lakers carry the team into the next era? " We like this young Laker core, yes," said Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak. "It doesn't mean we're not going to pursue some veteran leadership. When July 1st [free agency] rolls around, I think we will. I think historically, history tells you that a bunch of young guys on the team is probably not a good thing. They look around for leadership or they look around for advice from somebody who's been through this a couple times, and if there's nobody to talk to, well, you don't know how to handle the situation. So I think we will look to add some veteran leadership and hopefully it's not only leadership but guys who can help us win games."

I bet you like how I predicted the first 7 picks in the draft in its exact order (see page 111) and on the same day there's suddenly an ESPN report that the Kings and Lakers are back in serious trade talks.

Stay tuned.

Wait, Boston picked nader? As an ISU graduate, 0 percent of the pepole here thought he had a legit shot at getting drafted. Good for him though. Could potentially be a 3 and d type guy in the nba. Good athletism, decent shot.

Who is the real problem? Cousins, coaches, front office?? Idk if I would even want Cousins. I mean I would obviously but not if he's Terrell Owens.

Right, he could potentially find a niche off the bench somewhere. From what I was hearing from his sister he was killing his pre draft workouts down in FL.

Sounds like Timothe wants to come over right away too. I also love the pick of Furkan Korkmaz right after that and he also wants to come over right away if he can get his buyout situated. Plays on the same team as Dario Saric over there too.
