The NBA Draft Thread

I think Jerryd Bayless contract is up. I think the Bucks will keep him, I hope. Not sure if the sixers would want to go younger but he worked perfectly with Giannis as a point guard who can shoot the 3 and score off ball.
Funny in hindsight talking about not knowing if Knight was a 1 or a 2 and getting rid of him. That tweener is exactly what the Bucks need with Giannis handling the ball. Same goes for Simmons.

I'm surprised GP III wasn't drafted. I'm actually very surprised. I think he can hold quite a bit of value in the NBA. He signed with Houston, yeah?

Juice was the nominal PG in the starting lineup right?

If I'm Philly I'm trading for D-Lo. I'd give up Jah and the unprotected first next year for him

I'd want Noel but if we get our pick back pull the trigger. Top 10 next year is loaded. Plus plethora of vet PGs in free agency. Build around Ingram.

For a little while yeah. I think when we first put him in at the PG position we made our first nice little run of the season but it didn't last long. OJ, Bayless, and MCW were in and out with injuries all year long and Kidd was mixing starting rotations constantly until all-star break when point giannis took over with monroe on the bench.

True..I think that's why Philly won't make a trade for a PG giving up the pick since the draft next year is loaded. I forgot about that.

Philly needs a couple guards, too bad stauskas sucks cuz he coulda got perfect at the 2 ...they can grab somebody like delavadova or something If they can't pull off a good trade...trey Burke shouIs be available *** well :lol

OBJ has already proved himself at the highest level two years in a row, he wasn't doing none of that before hand stop it.

It remains to be seen what Simmons will do.

I know you wanna defend your franchise pick but you gotta chill.

How you a Dlo fan....but criticizing Ben Simmons social media? :lol

Ben's social media is tame for a dude in his position and at his age. Y'all will find anything :lol

DLo isn't getting moved anywhere. Especially not in a deal for Okafor. Dude is going to flourish with a new coach and Kobe gone...

did the celtics spend so little on draft picks to keep space in the budget for a free agent like durant? 8o

will it all work out for them? 8o

the combination of buddy heild and anthony davis will be the next big thing in the nba  i love how people sleeping on buddy

I'm sure Durant can't wait to leave Russell Westbrook for Jae Crowder & Isaiah Thomas.

Oakafor definitely don't fit what lakers are doing over there..Plus I don't like Russell for what the lakers would want from him..

Why would the Lakers even want Okafor? Russell is a better fit, has a more valuable skillset, and is at a the most important position in the game:

"When I walked past most of the guys in the green room, some of the guys looked at me sideways," said Maker. "Some of the guys I already knew from high school, so we were like friends. So, they were happy and some guys gave me dap. And other guys were like, it should be them. I don't know, if I were in that situation, I would have been like, congrats, you know, you've made a step. Now go make a name for yourself. Yeah."
