We seem to be always rumored to be "enamored" with some player in the 11-14 range. From Donovan to SGA to Herro. Moreso the first two. Even Luke Kennard at one point.
Gotta just trade down or pull that trigger. There's always someone in that range thats a hit.

Nuggets were built on draft picks 7 or lower. 2016 draft we had the number 7 pick for Jamal Murray which we traded away years before that cause of Melo.

Even with RJ this past season how many times did he have it cooking in the first to be basically frozen out by Elfrid and Mr 360 spin in the lane, while Herro is hot in a game and getting feature and plays run for him all game in the conference finals.

Exactly it’s the culture. They empower their players. And if we look at Jimmy in this team it all fits perfectly because all Jimmy cares about is that other players work hard before the games. And due to the culture they all do. Weiters who didn’t is out same with whiteside. It’s a top down effect. You create it, embody it, bring in players that embody it, and spread it to the players that maybe somewhat on the fence.
