According to the Newark Star-Ledger, ex-Panthers coach John Fox "would certainly" be a target for Giants defensive coordinator if DC Perry Fewell takes the head coaching job in Carolina.
Fox and Tom Coughlin have never worked on the same staff, but they faced off against each other in the AFC South and Fox has history with the Giants. A longtime defensive backs coach with six years of NFL coordinator experience before his Panthers tenure, Fox would be a natural replacement for Fewell.
