Forgot we had a day game today. Turned to NESN like why the @@$+ am I watching fishing?
But Jacoby wit 2 HRs and Gonzo goin 4-5. And Miller with the shutout. Good comeback from last night. Now Price just gotta take care of a little business against the Yankees tonight

tim wakefield, hall of famer? 19 year MLB career, playing to 45, 2000k's, what will be 200 wins, 2 world series... arguably the most notable knuckle baller to pitch. (niekro probably wins that battle but still.)
oh and 8th all time in HBP

The numbers are impressive and he's closing in on most wins as a Red Sox. I would prolly give him the benefit of the doubt. But it is a good arguement. And a very nice career for a guy with a low 80s fastball

Im hyped about the offense. But the pitching has to step it up. We should be in these shootouts with bad teams like we have been the past 2 weeks.
Its great that we puttin up double digits on the regular. But we gotta be able to keep teams under 4 or 5 runs in the playoffs. And with the Royals and Mariners puttin up 7, 8, 9s on us. Thats not a good look. But we winning so im not complaining too much. Just gotten tighten down once the end of the season starts appoaching.
