In our situation, no way in hell I give up 3 picks for DJax. If I'm a good team like NE, San Fran, Seattle I'd do it in a heartbeat.

So we picked up Melton.. finally a solid move in free agency.. Weeden didn't cost us anything, but that's the equivalent of his production.. it would be crazy if he turned into a brady, but that's beyond far fetched.

Roy Williams sucked though, he wasn't even worth the 5th we gave up, I hated that trade

ohi agree 1000% thats partly why im cool with that deal for desean, at least we knows he is good.. and jerry doesnt have the track record to really trust him with draft picks.. I'd rather loose the draft picks thus putting more value on the ones we'd have left.. That would hopefully result in better decisions with the picks remaining.

Too many holes to give up 3 picks for a WR when it's not a position of need right now. If that's the case I rather just use our 1st rd pick on a WR.
Jackson was unhappy after having the best season in his career & going 11-5
said he deserved a better contract 
.. you guys think he's going to be happy going 8-8 and not being the featured WR with us? We don't have the proper environment in place to make it work. Dez is heading in the right direction, starting to mature and become one of our main leaders, the last thing we need is Desean side tracking him with his "me 1st" antics.
