Don't make sense I hope he's wrong but if that's their line of thinking they should just Draft zach Martin he can play guard this year then move to tackle once free is gone..

It's possible they draft anyone at this point, he's just talking out of speculation. I wouldn't be against it if it did happen though. Depends where the values is a decent defencive lineman probably doesn't win this team a super bowl (neither does an offensive lineman). A tackle will be a need this year or next and the fact that this team isn't one player away means draft on talent/value.

Yeah yo lo are right.. just as long as we don't Draft a tight end I'm good. I really want barr if he falls or Donald, jernagan... I think they all help out a great deal. Kinda want to see them trade back due to so much value this year.

For who is available around 16: Donald, Jernigan are the top two choices. If they are gone, Clinton-Dix or Pryor. If all of them are gone, I'd go Dee Ford.
There will be a lot of steals on Defense in round 2 and 3 as well.
I'm against the idea of best player available. Unless someone really drops. We are an 8-8 team. Difference between 8-8, and 10-6 is a few plays over the course of the season. The help we need definitely is not on offense. We are a top 10 offense and a bottom third defense.

I'd be thrilled to scoop Jernigan though, dude is an absolute beast. :x especially if we can get homie in shape, he'll be an animal for us the next 8 years, easy.

OT is a need, adding a legit RT may solidify the line, same can be said for a legit guard, then you have three really good pieces to anchor your OL with

Free had as good a year as ever IMO.
He went from an obvious weak link, to a bargain(for the 2nd time lol). Him nd bearnadue impressed me an awful lot last year.
Looked like completely diff players than the year before.

I honestly feel the offensive linemen ate gonna drop this year due to so many great defenders and offensive skill guys coming out. I think we could hold off on o linemen until the 3-4th round and still find a replacement for free when we let him go.
I wouldn't be opposed to a Guard. The reasons why: guards are in the game every play so it's not like drafting a 3rd WR that only plays in passing situations, a guard will help your running game and passing game, a guard helps you dominate time of possession so that your defense can rest.
OG is the only player on offense that would be an ok pick early on in the draft.

I think he takes a 1 year deal guaranteed money this season unless Oakland decides to break the bank.
