any one know why this is the case?

does Goat usually have dual postings or is something fishy going on and someone trying to game GOAT systems

its odd that the same shoe has two different pages on a resell site with wildly different prices. Unless GOAT themselves are moving their own extra inventory. Since they do buy shoes sometimes.

It's because they have two different style codes so in a sense they are two different products despite being the same shoe. I take it that the restock pairs are flying under the radar at this point

For Skull Pack consumers, if you have the chance, inspect your pair(s) before you buy them. I passed on four pairs. Maybe you'll get the batch dbplay1212 is referring to cause the display I had in hand and the pairs I asked for definitely weren't of the revised shape.

Just picked up the restocked Anniversary 1's today. I've compared them to my royal anniversary pairs from March since I don't own the red pair. It's a different shoe in a lot of subtle ways. The "restock" pairs are slightly shorter in height, 3 piece tongue construction is the same but shorter and less padding. Toe box shape is on point though. There's actually more padding in the heel of the "restock" version but the Nike Air stitched on the back is kinda off in my opinion. One thing that does annoy me is the tongue on the red pair and how the red looks like it's bleeding through the white underneath. Materials feel the same as well and overall I think it's a great shoe to just wear and beat to the ground but you can definitely tell the QC wasn't as good. The hunt for the 1st version continues....

I have a friend that works in a sneaker boutique in LA. This was the best one out of the stock he had. All tongues had that dye/bleeding effect on them. This was one of 3 pairs of size 10 they had in their shipment.

ah damn, I was gonna say maybe just a bad pair. sounds like they got a lot of pairs to support the GR theory though.

it does still seem like a nice pair though. the shorter height may not be such a bad thing IMO.

He said sometime in October but not sure of a release date. I'll probably pick those up as well. I still haven't even wore my royals yet but I'd like to keep those on ice and wear the more GR pair.

That blows on the bleeding. Same thing happened on the Berrys. Maybe it was something in delivery to that store, like a lot of moisture or something. Box left out in the rain? Probably wishful thinking.

they change the factory for the newer release
factory code is different on the red pair compared to the blue pair
