39 yrs old, first pair of 87s in 87.

Still didn't know/care that there was a distinction between calling the atmos elephant pair by that name or just atmos.

Same with other pairs...safaris have mainly been called just that...not "atmos safari" etc etc.
 
SNKRS order just dropped off at my house? Holy hell I wasn’t expecting that lol. When I tracked them there was no ETA. I’ll take it though!

Right, most people call them by their name, not Atmos. Safari, Viotech, Animal, Elephants. That's the whole point. Nobody is saying you have to call them Atmos Elephants, just that Atmos isn't enough to describe what you're talking about.

Recently picked these up for my son. Jimmy Jazz has 3C, 4C, 5C & 6C. $28 shipped out the door if you're interested.

If anyone has leads on a AM1 TD from AMD for retail, please let me know. Been searching and can't find anything less than $80. Trying to add some more to their collection.

Ain't no biggie homie...and I get what you're saying.

But like the good gentleman said a few pages back the atmos elephant is the only one to retro recently, so, when folks say atmos...whether they're a am1 "G" like yourself or a sort of newbie like me...we both know what they mean.

And I do call myself a newbie because for years I veered away from the am1 because of the shape.

And I'm primarily an iD guy anyway.
