Folks also use “dead stock” too often and incorrectly. Dead stock = stock that is new that a store couldn’t sell. Clearly the meaning has been altered to drop the “couldn’t sell”.Folks use slept on way too loosely nowadays. All them joints sold out at release (well, green and purples pending wider release but I already took a couple raffle losses).
BACK IN MY DAY...slept on meant at or under retail for an extended period of time after release.
Then again people also say “whole nother” so I guess language is whatever you want
