You basically just aren’t a huge fan of Tinker’s design. That’s cool.

Yea I like his 87 version. Just not a fan of the 86 mudguard, honestly. Some like it though and that's cool.

Yep, this isn’t a 1 to 1 comparison but I’d like Nike to use the OG felt instead of leather on mudguard for these 2023 pairs like the recent mica green. Give us what we want instead of 80-90% of what we want. I get the business side of it, I bought denim elephant 3s and Katrina 3s because I wanted fire reds and/or white cements. With recent releases I have both but I also have 2 almost pairs I probably won’t wear. They got me and my money.

Oh and these are the mica greens I recognize Top 10 AM1 for me.

I scooped these and the WMNs Pumice cw up, but I ultimately kept the Pumice cw and returned those. BIG RUHGRETS. SMH

That's how it be. I'm one of those randoms . I only pop in for the releases I really really care about. But I try to respect the OGs that keep the thread going in between those releases. Well he’s acting as the sneakerhead that thinks “everybody gotta hate it” along with him lol. Clearly he has a problem with people liking the BBs or worse, not liking the 2017. He even said it. It’s “wild to him” if someone doesn’t like the 2017 toebox. Straight accusing people of what he’s been doing this whole time. Is there something in your royals? Not calling them fake, just that the toe box looks like a DH Gate special. Nike QC can be rough. My NYC Chinatown pair came with a messed up toe. Drives me crazy.

Both had shoe trees in em. Without the shoe trees the wrinkles were worse on the 17s

I can do 10.5 but it's tight..usually wish I'd gotten an 11. Trying to hold off and see if I can end up scoring a pair of 11's for under 200.

Are the materials different? Does it feel like you're walking on cleats?

Definitely doesn't feel like cleats at all, even when walking on firm surfaces. The only real difference I notice is the toe mesh. It's not even really mesh at all. Best way I can describe it is a woven polypropylene like material similar to those old school folding lawn chairs. It's very rigid too. I assume this was done to waterproof that area of shoe. The bubble is the same length as the Big Bubbles, but it is not as high.

Those are really only two main differences that I've noticed so far in addition to the Nike Golf logo on the insole.

Another comparison shot (golf pair below). I actually like the golf pair more The shape is better and the red is a bit more vibrant IMO.
