Just binged the series yesterday and today.

Never played the game. Kind of gave me a Battle Angel Alita vibe. Dope and quick watch. Sad ending.

Agreed on the Video Game or Anime to live action Netflix. Castlevania, Cyberpunk are both examples of high quality animation efforts that respect the source while providing an engaging adult-theme story.

Excited for the Kenshin remake, even though Id rather see something new... not exactly sure how they would do that.

Its loosely based off history so any new conflict would be only enough for a movie.

Guns just become the dominant weapon in the country and samurai die out.

Shishio was the last major threat trying to make things how they use to be.

Of course they could just ignore all that and just keep bringing in powerful swordsmen antagonists.

the ShiShio Arc is the best and should have been the last of it. the whole European saga and Feng Shui arc just didn't work for me and found it boring. the OVA Reflections was even worse.
