The Official Fantasy Football Thread

Jones-Drew, Wayne and Rivers is real steady.

Most people probably wouldn't agree with it, but I love the high number of high-upside guys you have, especially a lot of those particular ones.

You know I love Olsen and Gronkowski, but a Mike Martz tight end and a dude who is third on the depth chart right now might be a little concerning. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gronkowski ended up being the number one, but it's hard to say, at the moment.

If anything worried me most, it would be your receiver depth. I would probably try and package Houshmanzadeh and maybe Spiller for a better second receiver.

I have a 10-team, $500 live draft tonight. I've never done a live before. I think I have a better grasp on fantasy football than most of my dudes, but I'm not really into it yet. I have some quick leg work to do.

7th pick out of 10 teams

QB: Philip Rivers, Kyle Orton
WR: Randy Moss, Hakeem Nicks, Santana Moss, Braylon Edwards
RB: Frank Gore, Cedric Benson, Jonathan Stewart, Thomas Jones
TE: Kellen Winslow, Todd Heap
K: Lawrence Tynes
DEF: Baltimore, Cincinnati

I want to drop Edwards for Bernard Berrian since Rice will be out for awhile. Smart move?
I'm also dropping Cincinnati for Austin Collie.

Just going thru this thread and it amazing how many of you drafted that D-bag Arian Foster. He cant hold on to the ball inside the 20 yard line

I'd go with Mendenhall on that. Pittsburgh's offense will be fueled by the running attack all season especially early on with Big Ben out.

Yeah, I don't like my tight ends at all... The dudes I drafted with went HEAVY on TEs early, and the run started right after one of my picks and all the top guys were gone by the time it swung back so I figured I'd sit that out and find one late...

I took a late flier on Gronkowski... Had a great game the other night, and a couple of TD passes from Brady piqued my interest... We'll see. I'll probably end up shuffling dudes in and out all year unless I can get someone in trade.

Olsen wont be back till week 6...and Gronkowski might have had a great game but he is fighting with Hernandez for time...I don't know how valueable a TE he is right now. I love guys like Shiancoe, Carlson, Zach and Heath Miller. GUys you can great really late and can still get solid production...also - JERMAINE GRESHAM - he should have a great year...huge target for Carson.
