The Official Fantasy Football Thread

Had my money league draft tonight.  This league is set up pretty funky but I guess these guys have been doing it this way for years.  It's PPR, Qb's get 6 pts per TD, AND a point per completion.  We start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/Flex/TE/DEF/K

So, I had the 3rd pick out of 10 teams.

QB:  Rodgers
WR: Randy Moss, Roddy White, TJ Whosyourmama
RB: Steven Jackson, Jamaal Charles
TE: Visanthe Shiancoe
Flex: Felix Jones
Bench: Flacco, Wes Welker, Mike Wallace, Arian Foster, Cadillac Williams

My Def and K are irrelevant since I will be adding and dropping throughout the season.  Any thoughts?  I hate my TJ pick and I took Welker outta sheer surprise he was even available when I got him, I totally forgot I even had Moss.  Thinking about trying to package Welker and Flacco for a better WR.

Thoughts? 10 team league, 6 pts a passing TD (that's why I had to get Bree's, which usually goes against my drafting which is to get a QB late). Also it is PPR and return yardage as well. A team has Kolb as its starter and I'm trying to use Palmer as trade bait, but the guy is pretty dead set on using Kolb as his starter.

I don't understand...you had the 3rd pick...in a 10 team draft and you ended up with Rodgers, Moss, White, Jackson, Charles, Welker, Flacco...%$*...who are these idiot you play with...who did they pick? You shouldn't have these players all together on your team its boarderline impossible unless you played with monkeys

Pretty good team...you drafted Forte absurdly early...like 4 rounds early...you also took a defense...Cinci's defense at that...in the 10th round...dumb move. your bench is weak but your starters are strong. Jackson wont play this year you might as well dump him. He said he is willing to hold out

No thats the right round for forte, hes going around the 4th or 5th round in most 10 team leagues, not sure what type of leagues he is lasting until the 9th round in.

  Yeah pretty much.  Only me and couple other dudes actually know what we're doing.  It's pretty comical some of the picks that happened. 

Want a real good laugh (its actually quite sad)   I got Steven Jackson in the 4th round... the 4th!  These dudes were sitting there with their fantasy football magazines and everything and were just blatantly passing over dude. 

Anyways... What's the deal with TJ Housh this year?  Should he have a good year if Hasselbeck can stay healthy?

after looking at drafts and the way they turn out i feel like the best way to draft is RB, QB, WR, WR, RB. but thats just my opinion.

AP, Marshall, Greene, Stewart, and then Gates. Fitzgerald actually fell to the 4th round in my league and I passed on him because Kurt Warner isnt throwing him the ball anymore. After him Steve Smith (CAR) was probably the best WR available and I am not confident in Matt Moore yet. I'd rather have Stewart at the WR/RB slot over Smith

You always know Stewart is good for touchdowns. He gets a ton of carries in the red zone.
