i give Brady and Mendenhall
i get Romo and Mathews

Brady is his favorite player and Mathews is my favorite RB and im a Chargers fan. i need an unbiased opinion because i'd do this trade in a second just because i want Mathews.

No. They drafted Kevin Smith about 3 years ago and when healthy, Smith will provide a nice change of pace to Best.

In this RB by committee league, I don't see the Lions cutting K. Smith any time soon.

On and Nowitness,

I'm hearing ROY being tossed around for Jahvid, but if you're anything like, you'll take the conservative route and accept that trade.

You know TO is going to get his catches and should be good value for a WR2 or WR3.

im no expert in fantasy football but it looks like that trade is a wash. i see both brady and romo having excellent years and matthews having a SLIGHTLY better year than mendenhall.

I say no. Brady > Romo and fantasy wise I think they will be on par. Mendenhall will outplay Mathews by alot this year...I think Mathews is being severely over hyped

stupid YUKU deleted my post from last night...

Anyway I had my draft. We start 2 QB's 2 RB's 3 WR's 1 flex 1 K and 2 DEF 6 bench spots

QB's went early and often like it was insane everyone wanted 1 so against my normal judgement I had to spring for who I considered still an elite QB at my slot.

Quarterbacks
1. Matt Schaub
2. Alex Smith
3. Jake Delhomme

Running Backs
1. Chris Johnson
2. Jahvid Best
3. Ahmad Bradshaw
4. Michael Bush

Wide Receivers
1. Miles Austin
2. Steve Smith (car)
3. Pierre Garcon
4. Jacoby Jones
5. Devin Aromashadou
6. Eddie Royal

Tight End
1. Jermichael Finley
2. Visanthe Shiancoe

Kicker
Ryan Longwell

Defense
1. Cincinnati
2. New York Giants
3. Kansas City

I'd love to get another rock solid #3 WR bc thats probably my weakest spot but everyone is very balanced in my league.

Mendenhall is a WORKHORSE and he's poised for a big year. IMHO, I wouldn't do that trade.

still think you are giving up too much. Wayne and Peyton have the best WR QB chemistry in the league arguably. And yes I dont think Wayne has a 100 catch 1000+ yd season but he will be close. I don't like Mathews for that price. IMO Mathews is a #2 fantasy back, not #1 and you are paying #1 prices

I'd do it. Especially in a "Flex" position league. Being Elite at RB could be valuable.

You can't really trust any Colts players during the playoffs.

Please share some names. I picked up Huggins and Hardesty in my 16 team league...... but i could use some more names to keep an eye out for.
Hardesty should've been long gone in a 16 team league, but Huggins is on my list.

Props.

Spoiler [+]
Here we go:

Kareem Huggins - RB - Buccaneers
With Derrick Ward being cut, Huggins is promoted to the #2 behind injury prone Cadillac Williams; A beast in KR too.

Bernard Scott - RB - Bengals
Homerun hitter kinda RB... Benson eats most of the carries in Cincy, but he's been injury prone; Scott does KR too.

James Jones - WR - Packers
High powered offense and he's the #2 and both WR positions... should easily see 40+ catches.

Brandon Jackson - RB - Packers
"Brandon Jackson to me is an every-down back," McCarthy said. "(He) is a good special teams player, too. He's a complete football player, and if we had to play all three downs with him, I wouldn't even blink." - Packers Coach Mike McCarthy after Ryan Grant suffered a concussion.

Mike Williams & Sammie Stroughter - WR - Buccaneers
Williams won't show on the average person's radar because he's in Tampa & a rookie, but he's Freeman's #1 WR... gotta be worth something, right?
Stroughter is a bit of a "homer" pick I admit but he's the goods and Freeman's #3 option... and returns punts

Danny Amendola - WR - Rams
Scrappy little white guys amuse me

... plus he returns kicks & punts really well, and is fighting for the #2 WR position.

Legedu Naanee - WR - Chargers
Floyd & Gates are gonna see an awful lot more double teams this year, and I can see some teams stacking the box on Rivers... Huge Red Zone target too.
