Your runningbacks are decent. I don't think Jahvid Best will be very good this year. He's a first year back on the Lions...I just don't like how that sounds.

Mendenhall and Foster should both be pretty good. Texans hate Slaton and he fumbles too much so Foster should get a lot of carries especially on the goaline too. I would rather have Bradshaw then Jacobs this year but if Foster or Mendenhall don't start producing you might be in trouble.

Kolb will have his ups and downs but overall I would say toward the the top 9-12 range for QB's. He has a lot of weapons.

Hope I helped.

Team 1-

No idea how you secured both MJD and Michael Turner, but fantastic job. Not without mention, you also finagled Tom Brady, Jermichael Finley and Calvin Johnson, three guys who could also end up being studs. Just from that I'm going to give your team an A. I really like Pierre Garcon this year, he reminds me of a younger Reggie Wayne. I see him solidifying himself as the Colts #2, while Anthony Gonzalez and Austin Collie will take backseats. CJ Spiller's performing very well in the preseason, but I still have my doubts about him. He was without a doubt the best back in the 2010 draft, but his offensive line is just putrid. It'll definitely limit his production come regular season. You have a few nice sleepers in Malcolm Floyd, Bernard Berrian, etc. A few low risk, high rewards in LT, Chester Taylor, Chad Henne, etc.

Great job.

Team 2-

This team is not as talented as the first team you posted, but still very, very solid. I'm not a huge fan of Carson Palmer as a starter, but your RB and WR situation is looking very healthy with Steven Jackson, Shonn Greene, Andre Johnson and Miles Austin. Thing about Sidney Rice is... he will be on crutches for 6 weeks, meaning he won't be doing any football, high speed related activities for a very long time. He will be out deeper than Week 7, trust that. So holding him for about half the season could cost your team if other guys on your squad suffer injuries. Portis and Shanahan are back reunited, and he could be a nice sleeper if he records a bounce back season. However, it is Shanahan, therefore we should expect to see millions of no name RBs get plenty of carries, providing fantasy owners with avid frustration.

I see that you really like Matt Prater

Thanks for ranking my teams

I'll rank yours if you'd like. And as far as kicker goes I try to just keep the same kickers in my leagues so it's less to pay attention to..... I feel for the most part kickers don't matter much.

And yeah it is still beyond me how I got MJD and Turner...thats a 20 dollar league. The people I drafted with are idiots I guess...
roll.gif
In my other league MJD, Turner, Calvin, and Brady went in the first 14 picks... but in the bigger league I got them in the first four rounds...

Very solid at QB and RB. The only thing I'm worried about is Peytons annual vacation come week 16. I think Ray Rice is going to have a monster year and like Greene a lot. Gates is going to be targeted more as long as Jackson isn't playing. I'm personally not a huge fan of Crabtree or Ward but I like Garcon a lot. Bench is solid with Forsett, Bush, Brown and Evans... overall I'd give your team a B+.

Crag that first team is ridiculous. You literally didn't have a bad pick IMO. I'd say you have a very high shot at winning that league.

The second team is solid at starting RB/WR position. I'm not too big on Gonzalez especially in the 5th round, but I like the TE depth with Zach Miller. I think he could have a big year. Personally, I tried to stay away from SEA RBs, but as mentioned above Portis could be a good sleeper. I also think Maclin could have a solid year for you and should perform as a low end WR2/high end WR3. \

------------

HML- That's a similar team to what I would draft, but I would have gone for a top tier TE. Shonn Greene is going to put up #s bc the Jets will run. I like Jahvid Best and think he has the potential to be a low end RB1 or top RB2. We know what JCharles can do, but it all comes down to how they will use him. I think I read that last year he had several TDs of 30 or 40+ yards, so he could do that again splitting touches and being a very good flex play. I like your starting WRs a lot. You've got 2 WRs that are in pass happy offenses and should do work. Good depth there too. I think Garcon will be a pleasant surprise for you this year and Hester is in a Mike Martz offense so he should get plenty of targets. You've also set at QB. Overall I think you should do well.

I'm finally having my big money draft tonight. Been waiting and agonizing over it for weeks. Very excited...I'll come back with results.

Real talk unless you have a 6 team league there is no way you should have got Peyton, Rice, and Green on the same team.

2 things:

Don't think I'll fully participate in an auction draft again. I'll just get the guys I want and autopick the rest. too much foolishness goes on.

I'd rather they just pick the player I want versus driving up the price at the last damn second for damn near 5 mins.

FYI - If you've never had a league with IDP's and/or return yds, you're REALLY REALLY missing out on some fun.

I'm tired of ranking teams, but I'll gladly answer any questions you guys have... ESPECIALLY for IDP/Return Yd leagues.

I've been scouring the depths of most team's rosters, and if you're really desperate, I have some names for ya.

I'm in a 10 team league and got MJD, Turner, Calvin Johnson, and tom brady all on one team....

And as far as taking Gonzo in the 5th round... my friend who is a Colts stan scooped up Dallas Clark in the 4th and then tight ends were going like CRAZY. Gonzo had a few big games for me last year and seemed like the best pick at the time.
