Sep 7 Coach Mike Tomlin named Redman the Steelers' short-yardage back on Tuesday, James C. Wexell of Steelcityinsider.net reports.
Recommendation: A very tough break for Rashard Mendenhall owners, who will almost certainly watch Redman vulture some touchdowns this season after Mendenhall gets the Steelers into the red zone. Redman instantly gets some value in touchdown-heavy leagues, and even owners in standard-scoring leagues should consider making a waiver claim for him.

Is this supposed to be for week 1? Because the Chargers open in Kansas City.
I like Floyd though. Berrian is a very close second after receiving Punt Return duties though.

Got a trade to ponder (this is a keeper league mind you):
I give up- Dwayne Bowe and Rashard Mendenhall
I get- Ryan Mathews
I'm not a big fan of Mendenhall and they just announced he's not the short yardage back. I would give up flexibility from my WR2 and Flex spots. Mathews would certainly be a keeper for me next year and I think he's prime for a top 6-8 RB season. On one hand I think I'm giving up too much, but on the other hand I think I can make due and would be getting a better long term prospect.
What would yall do? Inside the spoiler is what my team would look like with the trade...
