Am i the only one that thinks that even with the OG outsole all colorways still wouldve sat? The Flightposites dont seem to have the hype behind them like the Foamposites. Plus there seems to be too many $200 shoes out now a days. When you got $200 Kobe and Lebrons then $180 Retro Jordans, kids are gonna spend their money on those rather than Flightposites 10 times out of 10.

you underestimate flightposite lovers.

nike dropped epic colors on a tragic shank of a shoe.

H20 = selling like hotcakes
Carbons = gone on sight
Coppers = done deal

you act like $225-250 foams don't sell when done right.

Carbons would have sold out but the NYK and Coppers are garbage. I guarantee the majority of people hyped over coppers don't own the gold FP1. All the coppers are is the Gold version without the color changing effect and a jacked up clear sole. A poor mans version that cost more at retail. Smh

Owned the OG Gold and the Copper Foams. I currently own the Retro's and the Copper Flights are still a nice colorway.

Oh. Sure they'll be a some who do. By far the biggest disappointment this year IMO is the FP1. Nike knew the Exposed was DOA so they made a few bucks switching them to these I suppose.

Flightposites just dont have the following Foams do. I'm a Flighposite lover. First pair for me was in HS when the White/Navy colorway KG wore in the 2000 Olymplics. IMO the jacked up sole wasnt that big of a deal. Does it suck, ya because you want it as close as possible but it's still a dope looking shoe regardless. The no shroud mess is a bigger deal than the sole. To me the way they are made now just doesnt warrant full price. Never said that when foams arent done right wont sell. But i think in a lot of the newer generations mind these are not "foams". Like i said when given a choice the money is being spent elsewhere.

Copper is a different color.

The sole sucks, but these are too hot to pass up.

Bitter about what? I'm disappointed not bitter. If you like these fine but you don't have to get defensive. To me the 2014s are garbage, especially at the higher price. I'm sure there's shoes in my collection people think are garbage also. Folks really catch feelings when you call something they like garbage apparently. It's just opinion though. I really need to post my collection soon. Over 400 pairs going back as far as 95. Ha ha bitter.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Carbon FP1s were like an ultimate grail for a lot of heads, and it wouldn't have hurt their sales at all to drop them right. What hurt them was driving away the people that have wanted this shoe in its true form for like 10-12 years now only to see a crappy, shoddy version of it at a huge markup. None if it makes sense besides that it's cutting costs. This to me was the worst Gentry thing so far. Worse than he graphic foams, cause at least some of those can be acetoned. The only other Gentry signature slap in the face was the Penny pack they just did. I'm still bitter, lol.

The only thing that gives me hope, is the "Flightposite 2014" tag Nike put on these. I just cant see how they would continue with this butchered version past this year, when every single release has been put on clearance or RTV.
