* The Official Jay-Z: Blueprint 3 Post [3rd single: Empire State Of Mind]

For Jay to pull the plug on the Drake single I wouldn't be mad if it didn't make the album @ all. I can't wait for some new Jay (nh)

nobody ever said he "needed" it, that aint got nothing to do with the point I was making. How the #%#% would that have been a "bad" move? And the prospects of a song with Rihanna's annoying %%$ voice on the hook being good as opposed to Drake's are low. At least Drake is nice. I aint tryna hear Rihanna on a damn thing....

Imagine if Hello Brooklyn was the single for AG. All hell would break loose. "OMG Jay got the hottest in the game Wayne on his single""He tryna ride Weezy's wave" "The Best Rapper retired with the Best Rapper Alive" Trust it wouldn't have been well

If Jay-Z was really going for that pure HIP-HOP sound I would've left out some of those features. Rihanna is really the only POP feature there, butstill...

And I would've replaced Timbaland with Premo...

^Agreed, but still this could be a great album. I really think this album is going to be amazing or it's going to suck, but we're at least guaranteed afew very good beats, no?

Judging by those guests, this is going to be far from American Gangster-sounding. The sound each of those artists has is unique in its own way, but I don'tthink they really scream, 'street' in any of those collabs.

Wish list.

EDIT:

And a beat from Premo and Clark Kent just for old time's sake.

I'm still anticipating this album like no other. I'm just a little skeptical about the pure hip-hop sound that Jay and Kanye were trying to hype up.

Man I have a strong feeling I'm gonna dislike this immensely...
Smh...this N doing songs wit pop stars...

My interest in this album is fading. I was excited back when he dropped DP3 and announced this album was on the way, but I'm losing hope for this album...

Rihanna? Broad pretty and all, but let's not take this as the opportunity to make the world feel sorry for her... again.

Well reserve judgement until track is out. But definitely ehhhh about it for now.

, it's funny, every time a Jay track comes out, the post goes the same exact way every time.

Whatever, I'll hear it when I hear it.

Only on NT can a track be thoroughly discussed and summarized WITHOUT hearing the actual track.

Rihanna makes the track wack now

Like she wasn't the reason LiveYa Life was a hot track. Some of yall cats...

But on the flipside...dudes can look at a rumored collab and be excited and it's ok right?

Like if this track is Jay-Z featuring Nas...produced by DJ Premier...I bet you wouldn't be in here saying "Only on NT can a track be thoroughlydiscussed and summarized WITHOUT hearing the actual track. "

I don't have to taste !@@! to know a bull just crapped in front of me...I don't have to "reserve judgment". Based on the premises of thiscollab...right now I'm sure anyone who enjoyed DOA...is not looking forward to this song. If it releases and it's Can't Knock The Hustle 2...thenI'll be glad to change my tune.

!@@! ain't always gotta be cut and dry for you to form an opinion before hand. A backcourt of Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis didn't sound like agood idea either...ain't nobody have to wait for that !@@! to happen to see that.

I've always been an advocate for Jay's recent music when everyone and their mama has been trying to !@@! on him so I can keep it 100. Fact is...to havea track like DOA...and then follow it up with a Kanye, Rihanna collab...is kinda funny. I'll call a spade a spade.

And for the record...Live Ya Life was wack. Far cry from "What U Know" or "Be Easy". Keep that z100 !@@!.

I just think its funny that cats can form a knowledgeable opinion when they have yet to hear the track. It be the same dudes u see already forming opinions onalbums based off tracklists and album covers like come on. How about listen to the track first then form an opinion.

Live Ya Life was wack... okay to each his own i guess
