They told me Vvs and the piece in question was going to be solid they don’t do hollow pieces. And they only thing is that the pendant wouldn’t come with that Cuban chain. Which was cool cuz I already had a Cuban link
the diamonds in ther bail look si2 at best, but its hard to judge off a pic like that. you have recourse if you paid by CC. even if paypal sides with them you can do a chargeback with your CC. you might burn up your paypal account doing so, but for 5k i wouldn't even give it a second thought.

in my opinion, i think you should express your displeasure to them, tell them what you expected and work something out.

Dont be shy/timid, let them know what it is. Jewelers are like mechanics, if you dont let them know what you want they gonna finesse you and walk all over you.

Bbb is a waste of time, look up deptartment of consumer affairs, file a complaint with them... find out heavy the piece is first though, if it’s a decent weight I’d take that into consideration with the cost.

Ii so the guy that makes the jewelry just called me and said that their two different pieces and that someone messed up on their end. I guess miscommunication from the people that run Instagram. I showed what is was that I wanted and they assured it. Said he will get wit stacks in the morning to fix the situation.

Those are fire. Joint on the right is a Lady of Guadalupe piece? Specs? Been wanting something similar for my 9mm Cuban, trying to get an idea of how much one would run now. Havent been to a store in person in a minute, and the options I see online are limited.

i feel you, but my take on it is since it's something of sentimental value the 1st priority should be getting it done the way he needs it/expects it to be. trying to squeeze a few more grams of gold out of a situation that could of ended much worse than additional waiting time might have it go right back to square one.

Sucks to hear about Stacks. He’s a young brother from South FLA I believe. Think they just outsource their work to some Cubans, I don’t think they’re actually involved in making the pieces. I’d get a full refund and hit up another Miami jeweler.

Maybe it’s just me but if you’re claiming to be this great jeweler I’d expect all custom pieces for a majority of the work to be done in house and overseen by you or an appointed person and get your stamp of approval on it before being sent out because that’s your reputation and business at stake.

I get what you saying but I guess since I purchased jewelry online already from CMG and it worked out I was ok with trying them. I did check em out reviews n etc plus ya brought em up in here too. I did take into consideration the price of gold at the moment and what other jewelers was offering

Roughly 7.5 grams each 14kt. It is sir, found both designs at cgtrader.com. dmed him and showed him what I wanted. honestly came out better than I thought.
