Seen it take place once as I was waiting at a red light
It all happened within 5 seconds .
Older gentleman was walking to the liquor store
Car was parked
Young dude gets out and walked behind the victim
Grabbed on the chain and yanked it. Ran into the running car with the getaway driver and took off.
I’ll never forget that older dudes reaction
Almost like a frustration and a disbelief mixed with wanting to break down and cry.

At least thats all that happened. Dude i know from Johannesburg told me when he was like 11 he seen a guy in his car at a red light. Guy runs up on him, cuts his hand at the wrist with a machete so he can take his watch.

Not even a chance to just give up the watch. Man lost his hand in the process.

Aside from the purity of the gold, which would you prefer to wear everyday wear and/or special occacions ? Is there a big difference in look between the 14k and 18k? Right now, I'm leaning towards the 8mm/18k. I'm about to put a deposit down on one of these, :lol:.

You can definitely see the difference between 18 and 14k
 
how many of the top chain makers mentioned here take credit card direct, or paypal for payment.

Me personally I'll do 14k

But I ain't out here big dogging like dudes in here so I understand the appeal of 18K

Reys is shying away from PayPal. But wire deposit to their bank is their preferred method.
but most shops take cc if deposited to their bank.
 
Thinking about following through on getting a 7mm 23” from Rey’s. How much wiggle room is there when negotiating with Norma??? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes there’s a difference in look.

18kt and 8mm would be my choice of those. But you probably want 9mm.

Stick with 14. I wouldn’t bother with 18. If 18 was in my interest I may as well go 22k+

18k easy
Once you get that 18k in hand there’s no going back to 14. Only 18 and up

I’ve had a 7mm and immediately wanted to upgrade. now I have a 9mm 18k and it’s the perfect size for daily. I wanna eventually get an 11-12 but in no rush at all
 
Best site to buy smaller chains from? Jacoje seems to be OOS on a lot of stuff and not sure where else to look.
