Ordered a handmade 6mm from Leon's and they are annoyed that I'm asking for pictures before shipping and to see it if hangs straight etc. said that it's never going to be perfect because it is handmade and that I'm one of the only people that's asked for all of this. I thought this whole thread is full of people who did this lol.

In fact she said " you guys saw this hang straight thing on youtube and forums and it is stupid - cubans don't have to hang straight, there's beauty in imperfections." I'm scared lol.

I agree with her. Idk where the hang straight stuff came from, not gonna front I used to assume it was a sign of craftsmanship but I really don’t think it matters honestly.

Nah, but I am sure we dealt with the same person. After I spoke with the dude I spoke with a woman because he couldn't understand what I was asking for - all I wanted was them to put a larger bail on the pendant. She didn't get my ask either, so I just said F it, I'll take it to a jeweler in Seattle to get something more custom. Which ended up working out because the jeweler also reinforced the weak jump ring or whatever you call it on the pendant.

I totally agree its all about respect and customer service that's why if I make a sell I always send regular updates and try to upgrade shipping for a pleasant surprise. Its all about appreciation
