Chain finally came in. 6mm anchor link about 27”. Sterling silver with the rose overlay. Was gonna wait till tomorrow to post better pics but I’ll just spam these lol I’ll post more on my IG. Love the looks of the anchor. I think it’s just right. I could go bigger but i think this a good balance.

Yeah obviously Hermes didn’t want anyone going around using the name so jewelers change it up. Anchor, heavy link, Odin Link, cable link all different names for the same style of chain. Slight differences but mostly all the same design.

Not gonna front the setting in the bale is terrible and sticks out like a sore thumb. I’d send that back for him to redo for sure. Other than that it’s a solid piece.

The black paint/enamel or whatever makes it worse, but in an everyday setting nobody is inspecting your piece that close

I get that and again you're looking at extreme closeups. On the wear, you can't see it enough for it to be significant

I see it as being symmetrical the way the stones lay. In fact kinda cool cuz it looks like a robot I'm not saying it simply cuz it's my piece and i'm biased it's just really not a deal breaker for me to not have 4-6 more CZs in the bale to flood it all out.
