I dont know the rules, but I'm sure it is. Kanye cares about the Grammys TOOOOO much to release it this late in the year and not have it be Eligible.
I HATED on this album before it released, mainly because I had already heard a good majority of it. But as far as Rap/Hip Hop it should be album of the year, definitely deserves a nomination for album of the year overall as well.

Gorgeous is slowly becoming one of my favorite Kanye songs ever. I'd say top 10 for sure. Song gets better with every listen, it's just tooooo smooth.

No, the cutoff date was September 30. And I'm sure Kanye thought better of competing with Em, who's pretty much a lock for RAOTY and a formidable candidate for AOTY. That doesn't include MBDTF, so hold your horses.

I believe the Grammy's deadline is in September. so he wont be nominated for anything until the 2012 Grammy's.
I could just see it now. all these amazing reviews this albums been getting are gonna get Kanye to be even more big-headed, and when he does get nominated for a Grammy and losses it to some lesser-known artist, all hell will break lose
