I might be wrong but i believe wearing shoes that are too tight at the midfoot can lead to leg cramp and running while your leg is cramping can lead to muscle damage. The Kobe 8 elite fit a lot tighter around the midfoot and toe box. Maybe it has something to do with cramping and achilles tear
i think people should know that kobe was playing over 40 minutes seven games in a row around
the time period he injured his achilles. During those games, kobe already was hurting and a major injury was bound to happen.
It was just unfortunate that it was his achilles that he injured.
at one time before, the lakers were 17-25 forcing kobe to play extensive minutes coupled
with injuries to alot of lakers.
