yeah, new pro. only con that i personally see is the glossy screen. other than, the thing is awesome.

Yeah, I was looking at the glossy screen and I don't like it. I've had it on my macbook, but I mean that Matte screen was so much better. Which modeldid you get and is it really that strong or better being the new MB Pro?

i have the lowest model. apple actually switched out my old pro for a unibody because of a failing optical drive. which is fine enough for me. i have a cinemadisplay so i dont really put windows that im going to read/stare at for long on the glossy screen.

just bought a white mac today off apple.com
can't wait to get it...i messed up ontwo things though..i forgot to use the goverment discount link..and i bought applecare for the wrong !+!$
i bought the applecare for imac instead of macbook
tried to cancel it but it said you can't take that off the order..anything i can do withit once i get it? i got next day shipping because i'm trying to get it quick

Apple "Genius" my !+*. My folders take like 5-10 seconds to load and this douche is trying to tell me its normal...."Maybe its because ofcandybar, use the stock icons" *Switches to stock icons*..."Hmmm, thats normal". I swear I'm so frustrated right now, I just wasted 30minutes of my life. No way this is normal because it just started doing this and the things only 3 weeks old. Asking me if i got 4gb of ram then he triessaying "Oh maybe its because its not apple ram", #!$$@%!, it came with 4gb ram right from apple. Idk where I go from here...any tips?

Well maybe you've downloaded alot of add-ons which changed the appearance of your mac? Or you have a lot of pron hanging around and that'staking up a lot of the space. Sucks man.

Not at all. My old MB NEVER had this problem and it was nearly 3 years old. And to the other person, no FileVault is off. There is no reason a 3 week old MBPshould show any signs of lag.

Hmm I honestly don't know then my friend. Even Apple Genius' didn't know what was going on huh? Interesting...Maybe you have tore-install leopard and do everything over? I don't know. If I get the new Macbook Pro, I really hope I don't have any problems...

I'm looking to make the switch from PC to Mac around graduation, I'm pretty much set on a MB, but I am wondering is there an easy way to transfer allof my songs/movies from my iPhone to my new Mac?
Could I take them both to an Apple Store and have the do it? Or how would I go about doing that.

169 more got you a brand new white MB with almost the same specs as the unibody MBs..
im not sure about iphones, but senuti does it for regular ipods. and i do believe apple could transfer all your music/movies from your PC to your new mac butyou'd have to leave it over night.

I just downloaded ilife and iwork 09. Pretty cool new features but nothing to great. Just glad i didn't pay for it.
