The Official NBA Season Thread: 14 Game Slate

Warriors point of attack defense was bad today. chasing around slashers and Brooklyn’s drive and kick was killing them. Props to their shooters.

Steph was 8-16 from 3, but took only 1 shot inside the perimeter. that’s not good.
Yup. The game plan was trash. Nets 5th in 3 point shooting. And warriors were letting their shooters get open looks when they already showed they could take and make contested ones. Nets were sparking that thing.

It also said the warriors haven't practiced in a week. Hope they aren't losing the discipline and effort that got them here. They all need hyperbaric chambers and kegs of red wine to heal faster.

Should have just went and got Lauri 🤷🏿‍♂️

Warriors doing a #2 player by committee approach this year and depending on depth. It looks good when steph is creating for others and buddy is hitting, but games like tonite are a reminder that they need another legit scorer in crunch time. Wiggins is on a heater but idk if you can count on him down the stretch of a game. Melton injury definitely sucks.

Lauri would be nice, but ainge probably wanted too much for him.

Making Podz untouchable is just funny to me too

That curly head pipsqueak better become the 2nd coming of Mark Price

Yeah for all the good dunleavy did...making podz untouchable might've been cooked. He's been abysmal so far this season.

Although I think he played well tonight.

It's cool though, we packaging kuminga and danthony for Freak. Heard it here first.

Goodbye JK, podz, wiggs, and every draft pick until 2050, hello Freak!

16 of Steph's 17 shots tonight were 3's
51 of Boston's 88 shots were 3's

I think we're a couple years away from every team in the league shooting more 3's than 2's

The old heads are gonna hate it :lol

The sooner we get to more 3s and the league average coming up, the sooner we can get to a 4pt spot. So...hurry tf up.

There’s already a sport where all the shots are from the perimeter, it’s called handball.

Still trying to figure out if Lamelo is actually hooping or not. He’s getting numbers but they’re catching L’s against some bad teams.

He'll get a pass this year. He's taken a big step and he's must see TV.

But If he can maintain this level going forward the expectations of winning will be on his back.

Not sure why but the NBA (coaches) clearly value late season game wins over early season wins. I get that you want to be peaking at the right time (playoffs) but especially in the western conference a game or two could be the difference between play in and playoffs or home vs road for the first round.

That might’ve been the worst Steve Kerr coached game I’ve ever seen :lol. Big fan of dude, but it seemed almost intentional. How you up 18 for the second night in a row….watch the lead slowly dwindle. Refuse to call any timeouts, and then put Steph in, down 5….like 30 minutes of real time later :lol

These are the dumb *** games that cause teams to fight for play in’s etc.

Warriors blowing huge leads is incredibly concerning. Dennis is a warriors killer too. Nobody can stay in front of him, and you let a team get momentum in the NBA…curtains.

Not sure if Elfrid Paytons 14-7-21 after 2 years of not playing is a credit to him or just shows how easy it is to stuff the boxscore in today's NBA
