The Official NBA Season Thread: USA Setting Up for a SFA

Wemby raised his season PPG from 16 to 20 in one night
When 40 (or 8) point games change your average by that much it just means it’s still early. He can get 25 with a couple more these games in a row.
If he stays healthy and aggressive, he’s going to be nice.

Wemby is insane
Literally nothing you can do with him 4ft away from the basket
Spurs team looking nice this year too

Wemby doesn't need to get near as big as Giannis. It would affect his mobility & shooting too much.

I think looking at how Porzingis added some weight over the course of his career would be a good track to follow.
Him and his trainer have been very vocal that they're not interested in piling muscle onto his frame. Their primary goal will always be to maintain maximum mobility and flexibility for him.

He doesn’t need to overly bulk and he doesn’t need James the system harden

Just naturally grow into his frame and get a league average point guard, vet or start Jones
