I’d think this was the right logic for almost anyone else, but Jimmy is a weirdo. I wouldn’t surprise if he’s convinced his resume prior to now is impressive enough that he can afford to suck with the HEAT if they keep him the rest of the season.

Thing is, I don't get his end goal at this point
For the longest time, the source of friction with him was the team not being willing to extend him/give him a new max deal for obvious reasons.
Now that he's already missed 10+ games, had to leave early in others and is half-assing most of the rest, how does that equal a max worthy pitch to anyone else in the league??
Feels like some miscalculations have been made along the way and it's gonna end up blowing up in everyone's face...

I thought it was in bad taste/timing even though I understood the frustration over his comments about Boston before losing but then his agent said this over the summer

The Heat live in a perpetual dream world for 15 years now like they’re something unbelievably unique. The Heatles, were when I was in in HS and Mr Beast was like 11.
Secondly, Jimmy is perpetually unhappy and only has the bubble to thank for his graces.
Other than that, when nobody was in the stands, I’m out of outs for him. I saw him do this show on the Wolves. And now he wants to leave Miami of all places
