The Official NBA Season Thread: Back and Maybe Better Than Ever Before

Lakers & Warriors trash at the same time. Bron & Steve going out sad. :emoji_cry:

It's time for GS to do what they usually do and give up on a good player. Give us Steph. The NBA needs this! One last dance for the both of them.

Gonna change after this game but weren’t Lakers top 6 and Warriors were outside the play-in picture?

Yeah.

All their wins came to sub .500 teams though. They were top 5 in easy schedule to start the season. Warriors were top 3 in tough schedule. A change gon come.

Was scrolling through the socials, and saw that the Lakers did a jersey retirement ceremony tonight. I was immediately racking my brain trying to figure out who it was.

You mean to tell me the Lakers waited 35 years to retire Michael Cooper's number? I guess all it took was a bogus HOF induction last year. Michael Cooper is NOT a hall of famer, and the basketball hall is broken even more. Yeah, he was on All-Defensive teams and was DPOY once. Why? Because he played with Magic, Kareem and Worthy. He had ONE job.

Not sure about the jersey retirement, but I think he has a case for HOF basketball career
