I mean he's quitting on a team midseason and still expecting to command the max next summer in his head , don't think he thinks these things through with the clearest mind...

Now his actions have let the team off the hook for paying him this season.

No matter however valid his gripes with the org may or may not have been, he's easily become the biggest loser of a situation entirely of his own making.
